Marketing Committee: Our marketing committee is responsible for oversight on the overall design, layout and maintenance of the Future Forward Green County website and marketing plan. This team will carry forward our mission into all marketing aspects of our organization.
Events/Projects Committee: Our events/projects committee is responsible for planning the events that we will have participation in and to ensure that we have dedicated volunteers to make the event successful. The current events planned for this year are as follows:
Dog Friendly Park
Volunteer/Service Fair – June 2011
Networking Event – September 2011

Finance Committee: Our finance committee is made up of two parts; fundraising and budgeting. The finance committee is responsible for fundraising (through grant-writing, etc.) to ensure that the organization has funds to carry forward our program of work. Additionally, the finance committee works with the FFGC board to determine our budget through our outlined program of work. The finance committee is charged with ensuring that we stay within the budget set forth from our program of work and report to the board and committees within FFGC the status of the budget month-to-month.
Recruitment Committee: Our recruitment committee is made up of four parts; community outreach, e-mails (postcards/database growth), on-boarding new employees, and membership (retention/recruitment). Community outreach will be responsible for promoting the events and programs that FFGC is affiliated with throughout our community and through all media markets. Our e-mail group will be responsible for growing our database for our contact with and recruitment of young professionals through outlets like our postcards. Our on-boarding team will be responsible for working with our chambers of commerce throughout Green County in their initiative to help retain our newly relocated employees to Green County (securing our workforce). Our membership group will be responsible for retaining our FFGC volunteer members and recruiting new FFGC volunteer members to ensure we have community leaders throughout Green County to carry forward our mission.
