FIND YOUR FOUR LEAF CLOVER AT MARCH'S HAPPY HOUR
Our very own Irish YP, Patrick Doyle, will be hosting this month's happy hour at Doyle's Irish Pub (many of us know this as Bullet's or Bonnies) on Tuesday March 16th, 2009 from 5:30 to 7:30pm. Come join us for an early celebration of this fine heritage and a glass of refreshing Green beer! Don't forget that this is a great time to network, meet new people and melt the stress of the day away!

Events in the Next 30 Days
The Future Forward Green County Initiative reactivated community members with a kickoff meeting on January 8, hosted by Minhas Brewery. Over 50 members shared ideas and set goals on ways to attract, retain and engage young professionals in our community. The ultimate goal is to attract future leaders to live and work in our area, to help grow the future of Green County.
The group spent part of the evening brainstorming and coming up with a list of assets and gaps in our county under seven indexes:
vitality,
earning,
learning,
social capital,
cost of lifestyle,
after hours and
around town. This high level initiative is being led by Nicole Matley, R.R. Donnelley, Inc; and Kent Anderson, Green County Leaders instructor. Four groups have formed within this initiative: Leadership Group (led by Nikki and Ken), Boomerang Group (led by Ryan Kubly), Web Portal Group (led by Richard Grahn) and Liaison Group (led by Jane Monahan).
