On-Boarding Initiative

admin Future Forward Green County in cooperation with the Chambers of Commerce throughout Green County are offering an innovated program to retain our relocated and new employees. We encourage the human resource professionals from the businesses throughout our business community in Green County to send their new employees to an on-boarding event. The purpose is to help connect newly relocated employees to our community and others who live here.
New employees throughout Green County will be introduced to a variety of organizations in our county. It will take place on Thursday, September 6th at Monroe Clinic's Cafe Conference Rooms which are located at 515 22nd Avenue in Monroe. We will have two sessions for them to choose which to send their employees to; the first session will be from 3:00 – 5:00 pm and the second session will be from 5:00 – 7:00 pm. Organizations will be invited to mingle with our newcomers and bring one marketing piece to promote their programs to the new employees. Examples of these groups will be:

This FREE event will consist of:
- A short presentation and welcome to the community
- socializing & networking so each new employee can meet/greet
- ice breakers
- visiting community organizations to learn more about them and our community
All Human Resources professionals in the county are encouraged to send their new employees to this event hosted by Monroe Clinic on September 6th. Please confirm your business participation by calling the Monroe Chamber of Commerce at 325-7648.

Whether you are an avid biker, ATV or Snowmobile enthusiast, or just like that pleasant scenic drive, you will enjoy the outdoor activities, trails and parks that are offered here in Green County.
You will find that our leadership works to ensure that we enjoy an exceptional quality of life. We can boasts hundreds of acres of comunity parks for you and your family's leisure, and we are home to two State Parks in Green County encompassing over 415 acres of land. Additionally, both the Badger State Trail and the Cheese County Trail run through our County, together these trails have 87 miles of pure enjoyment.
Feel like hitting the greens? Green County is home to 5 public and private golf courses, a driving range, two miniature golf courses and 5 campgrounds. There is literally something for everyone in Green County when it comes to recreation.
Like the wide open? In Green County we have many opportunities for canoeing and tubing. And, if you enjoy movies, we have one of the few drive-in movie theaters left in the Country.
